I love the pirate water guns. Our Bible School this year was "Adventure on the High Seas" theme so we totally had to have pirates! We thoroughly enjoyed shooting the kids from the galley! I ordered two guns. One wouldn't stay closed very well at the part where u put the water in but we made do and the guns shot at least 20 feet so we could shoot someone way across the room. The kids loved it! One little boy even came back because his friend got shot and he didn't!

wanted to buy 40 of these for my pirate party, but at $5 each, no way! So I only bought 2 for the Pirate King and Queen, and bought 38 cheapie squirt guns @ $.59 each for the rest of the crew. All 38 cheapies worked fine, but one of the $5 guns hardly squirted, and the other didn't work at all, I had to drill my own hole through the muzzle! Very shoddy workmanship for such an expensive "cheap" toy. FROM CENTURY NOVELTY: We have tested this item since your review and would like to report that the item in the warehouse squirts great.
